About the Haunted Forest
The Haunted Forest is the oldest and spookiest trail in Spartanburg. It was established by Teresa Johnson in 1987 after her haunted house Halloween parties drew such a large crowd! She decided to buy some land in Pauline known as Pettits Point, which is known for it's shape of a sharp edged butcher's knife, and start the annual hanuted forest. With this secluded piece of property, she unloaded every fear that she had ever known and opend a haunted forest making The Haunted Forest the 1st outdoor facility in Spartanburg.
This year, the Haunted Forest is presenting to the public 'The Trail of Fear'. This will be one of the most frightening sites because it takes the 'scare factor' to the next level. It has been created to test a person's most serious fears...it is truely like your worst nightmare come true. It will take about 30 minutes (if you can make it) to get through all 17 HORRIFYING scenes with several unexpected elements of suprise. It is a guarantee that you will be screaming! There is nothing held back this year.
